What the job actually involves
Loader drivers are responsible for moving baggage and cargo safely between airport terminals and aircraft. It’s not a desk job — you’ll be working outdoors on the ramp, operating in rotating shifts, and handling cargo under strict aviation safety protocols.
- Loading and unloading baggage and freight from aircraft
- Transporting cargo across the airside area using ground vehicles
- Checking cargo holds and reporting anything unusual or damaged
- Securing ULD locks, restraint nets, and other cargo equipment
- Following all ramp safety rules and aviation security procedures
- Supporting 24-hour operations across shifts
