What You Will Do

As a Till Assistant your role centers on the cash desk. You will process customer transactions accurately using the Qatar Duty Free POS system, handle all payment types including cash, credit cards, and traveler’s cheques responsibly, and ensure receipts are presented to every customer without exception.

Accuracy is non-negotiable in this role. You are responsible for ensuring your float is correct at the start of every shift and for accounting for any cash variances at the end of it. All company documentation, transaction data, and statistics must be handled with complete confidentiality.

Beyond the till, you will deliver the highest possible standard of customer service to both retail customers and airport passengers. Complaints and problems must be handled professionally as they arise.
